
Dealer Principal
Responsible for aspects of running a dealership. Involved with planning,
budgets, marketing, results etc.
Dealer Accountant
Controls and oversees all matters relating to the financing, credit
control, budgeting, etc for the dealership.
Customer Care Manager
Is the customer point of contact where customer has experienced a difficulty
that needs more attention to resolve. Oversees the CSI policy of the
dealership. This person is the liaison between the dealership and the
manufacturer in resolving customer issues
Sales Manager
Monitors the performance of the sales staff. Is responsible for all
aspects relating to the showroom, forecourts etc. Plans new car order
stock pipeline, devises local marketing strategies.
Sales Executives
Customer facing sales staff involved in identifying and offering the
correct product to meet the customer's requirements. Advises on finance
packages, other services and benefits.
Service Manager
Day to day control of the workshop environment. Responsible for meeting
workshop budgets, workshop marketing and quality of workmanship
Service Receptionist
Liaison point between customer and workshop. Responsible for workshop
loading and progress chasing of vehicles in for work
Dealer Expert Technician
The 'DET' is a very highly trained technician who is normally involved
in the diagnosis and rectification of more difficult problems
Technician
A skilled mechanic involved in the service and repair work to vehicles
Auto Electrician
An electrical specialist who diagnoses electrical problems and is capable
of the installation of in car entertainment systems, car alarms etc.
Parts Dept Manager
Responsible for stock orders, stock control, parts marketing, parts
deliveries, achievement of sales objectives.
Dealer Expert Parts person
Picks and supplies parts to the workshop, receives and processes orders
from trade and retail customers
